COM PROJECTS handles 10,000,000 words annually and delivers large-scale and complex projects to specific deadlines for a diversity of areas and industries.
We use the latest translation and project management tools for quality assurance and to maximize our productivity.
We cover a broad range of languages including English, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, French, German, Swedish, Danish, Romanian, Polish, Albanian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Standard Chinese, Mandarin and other Asian languages.
We have built a diverse and expanding network of experienced translators, editors, reviewers and qualified professionals who are trained to work with the latest tools and have experience in meeting tight deadlines and using translation memories and terminology databases.
Contact us at [email protected] or give us a call at +30 210 5242485 to discuss your language project.
All translation projects include a review and proofreading stage. We can also review your already-translated content to ensure accuracy, consistency and appropriateness of terminology.
The creation and management of each client’s individual terminology is crucial for translation projects since it secures consistency and stylistic cohesion between different or large projects executed by different linguists and facilitates content repetition, cost reductions and improved turnarounds.
We combine the latest terminology management systems and tools with the databases we have built internally as well as our rich collection of specialized dictionaries. Our experienced linguists have diverse academic backgrounds (chemistry, medical research, engineering, law, economy, archaeology, history).
Our terminology management services include an evaluation of the existing client terminology, the translation or editing of any existing databases and the development of dedicated glossaries.
We use the latest tools to localize your content (websites, software, applications, multimedia) and adapt it to your target market and its individual cultural, age-related and other requirements by preserving its original style, tone and functionality.
Depending on your individual needs (functionality, style, target audience) and following an assessment and consultation with us, we can reword and recreate your content (corporate, websites, marketing, advertising, articles) to optimize its quality and help you attract more users/customers and gain competitive advantage.
During the processing of technical manuals, brochures, flyers, product packaging or any other visual material and with the replacement of the original content with its translation, layout and design are often affected resulting in additional redesign and desktop publishing requirements.
We use special DTP applications and we support the extraction of text and graphics from various types of files. The process includes converting your files into formats that can be processed by our CAT tools. After completing all stages of translation, the content is exported to its original online or printed format. We then use our publishing software to lay out and construct your document in the same, original design and format.
Official (certified legal) translations are typically required by government institutions, public authorities, embassies, Greek courts, corporate houses, universities and official groups.
COM PROJECTS works with accredited translators and also provides lawyer-certified translations for documents that have to be presented in tax offices, ministries, municipalities, general secretariats and other public or private organizations. Our certified translations are equivalent to those provided by the certified translators at the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Here is a short list of some documents that may require official translation:
-birth, marriage, death certificates
-tax documents and certificates
-balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports
-legal documentation (notifications, appeals, claims)
-medical documentation or reports
Our team of linguists and technicians can subtitle your audiovisual content (documentaries, TV spots, films, interviews and more). The final result must maintain the meaning of the original content and reflect its special, cultural characteristics. Subtitles are delivered in the format of your preference (.sub, .srt, .txt, .stl etc.).
Dubbing is a tool for maximizing audience engagement for films, videos, television series and cartoons. The process includes translating the original verbal elements and creating target language recordings to replace the original audio with synchronized timing.
In a transcription process, audio recordings and communications are converted into a text (digital) format. We compare the text with the original audio to ensure precision and accuracy of the transcription and we apply grammar and spell checks.
We also offer services for the production of meeting and board minutes, reports and agendas for in-person, live or web discussions or conferences and all the languages supported by our team.
We provide simultaneous, consecutive and whispered interpretation services. Our interpreters are experienced professionals who specialize in legal interpreting (for example at courts, public legal offices, police offices, migration and immigration offices, notary offices), interpreting for medical, pharmaceutical and other science conferences, as well as community interpreting (such as at tax offices, hospitals and health units, education authorities, municipalities and regional authorities).
Depending on your needs, we provide on-site, remote (web conference or phone) and hybrid interpreting services.
Simultaneous conference interpreting requires technical equipment (booths, microphones, headphones).
Simultaneous interpreting requires dedicated equipment, including booths, transmitters, receivers, microphones and headsets to ensure that interpreters work inside a soundproof environment while in visual contact with the speakers.
Com Projects can provide audiovisual conference equipment including ISO interpretation booths, receivers and headphone, radiators, desktop and hand-held microphones, audio mixing desks and projectors or video conference support, including platform licenses, cameras and sound cards, either separately or as part of our package conference services.
